We long to restore the old fir trim to it s original beauty and would even be willing to spend what will probably be the entire summer stripping sanding staining and varnishing the window door trim and baseboards but we have brand new white vinyl windows which we also didn t install. I rarely recommend white windows or white trim for a house unless it is all white or the body is a very pale color.
