There are several variations each with a different purpose.

Variations include test pressings white label promos and plain white labels. The swirl pattern is created randomly ensuring each vinyl pressing is a unique piece of art. In general a white label promo pressing of any given record will sell at a minimum for 50 more than a standard stock pressing. Test pressings usually with test pressing written on the label with catalogue number artist and recording time or date are the first vinyl discs made at the factory.

The sub pop erika third pressing sp34 released in 1992 and limited to just 500 copies is hugely coveted and features a 12 inch red and white splattered marble swirl vinyl recording of bleach plus silver on 7 inch blue vinyl.

A copy still in its shrink wrap with numbered sticker can command higher figures than the guideline value shown above. They are produced in small quantities. The original pressing of the white album uses the original apple records logo the outside of a green apple on the a side of each disk and an apple cut in half on the b side.
